Energy-saving contracts

We offer a range of solutions to help you identify energy-saving opportunities on your site. Our industrial valve insulation products meet the eligibility criteria for CEE incentives. We’ll carry out the simulations and prepare the CEE file for you.

Each insulation mattress is flexible and removable.
The thermal resistance “R” of the mattress varies depending on each singular point (valve, filter, flange) and the temperature of that point to ensure optimal performance.
R is greater than or equal to:

  • 1.5 m2.K/W at an average temperature of 70°C for a hot water system
  • 1.2 m2.K/W at an average temperature of 90°C for a superheated water network
  • 1 m2.K/W at an average temperature of 110°C for a steam network
  • 1 m2.K/W at an average temperature of 120°C for an organic fluid network

How CEE / C2E work

How energy-saving certificates work (C2E/CEE)

CEE

Energy saving certificate

Certificats d’Economie d’Energie, CEE or C2E, have existed since the introduction of Law n°2005-781 of July 13, 2005. This law sets out the main orientations of energy policy. It is also known as the POPE law.

The principle is to provide a financial contribution, known as an “energy bonus”, for companies carrying out work. These contracts make it easier for industries to carry out industrial insulation work. The government controls these actions and defines the obligated parties. These are the energy and fuel suppliers who must participate in the Energy Savings Contracts or face penalties. At the end of the period, obligated parties must provide proof of their energy-saving actions, and therefore of their obligations. If targets are not met, obligated parties will receive a penalty for each missing kWhc.

To do what?

To ensure and facilitate the interpretation of these plans, decrees have been issued defining standardized operation sheets to help set up energy-saving action plans. These sheets are classified by sector (residential, tertiary, industrial, agricultural, transport, networks).

Energy saving certificates are registered one by one in an account opened in the national register of energy saving certificates, in which transactions (purchases and sales) appear. You can consult the register at www.emmy.fr. These standardized operations give entitlement to a certain number of kWh cumac, depending on the type of equipment, its functional life and its installation date (period).

In the field of industrial valve accessory insulation, the corresponding EEC sheet is IND-UT-121: Insulation blankets for singular points. It is used by manufacturers to insulate valves, strainers, flanges and other components in a heat transfer fluid network with flexible, removable insulation blankets.

In the heart of industry, many points and surfaces are not insulated. This is why IND-UT-131 is in force for the thermal insulation of flat or cylindrical walls in industrial plants.

Singular point insulation has been possible since 2019, and two new CEE bonus forms have been introduced:

BAR-TH-161: for existing residential buildings

BAR-TH-155 sheet: for existing commercial buildings

How does the CEE plug work?

Depending on the surface area, i.e. the number of square meters insulated, and the temperature of the network, a multiplying coefficient indicates the amount of the possible premium. For more information and to find out how much you could get for this work, contact our sales department.

To prevent any misuse, regular checks are carried out by the PNCEE – Pôle National des certificats d’économie d’énergie – to verify the eligibility of CEE operations.

Cumac is short for : “Cumulated” and “Discounted”. Cumac is a financial measure of Kwh saved.
